I just don't like that so many of them are fucking hatchbacks. I just want a sedan (that isn't a god damned Tesla).
I think no one competes with Tesla Model 3 because they're behind on tech. Only BMW i4 is in the same category I think.
Except BYD cars. One of the reasons the US government is so furiously keeping them out is because their technological superiority to all American cars, including Tesla, would destroy the current American car market. All that and they are ridiculously cheaper.
The 80s racing Volvo station wagon was sick.
The Taycan is gorgeous.
It needs to be lower. I feel it looks like that took a good silhouette and added a box at the bottom to fit the battery in.
What's wrong with hatchbacks for you? Is it just the appearance? Genuinely curious. Toyota Crown is a fastback sedan, although it's quite tall and I assume the rear glass is a liftback.
I just don't like that style of car.
That reminds me of the Opel Ampera. The original 2013 model was a decent looking sedan.
But every new model in that line has been a fugly hatchback…
