He gave us the missing information from the clickbait-title. In this way he was making the subtitle here available, and i didn't needed to click a link to a random website too read it. In the end i was was clicking the link because the subtitle sounded interesting. With just the title i probably would not read it. And then i controlled if he cited it correctly. And because it was the same i gave an upvote to confirm to others that the subtitle is correct permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 3 child comments replies: [+] betanumerus@lemmy.ca 1 point 2 months ago* (2 children) [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] Wolfgang_1756@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 child) Ok, then it makes sense that you didn't had a use for their comment. My App for lemmy (voyager) doesn't prelead/preview the webpages. (And i also don't want it to.) There are a lot of different ways to enjoy lemmy. This is nice but means that not everyone has the exact same experience as you :) permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [+] betanumerus@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 months ago [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent [–] justastranger@sh.itjust.works 4 points 2 months ago Users on social media apps tend to avoid leaving the app to read articles.
