Yup, attacking water systems is a violation of the Geneva conventions and a clear unlawful order of which members of the military are compelled to not follow as they are bound by the Geneva Conventions and trained on it.
Destroying Iran's electric and water supply is a war crime.
it’s a reminder that those who volunteer for the mil are, indeed, pieces of shit.
I thought like you once.
I agree this war, and many, are unjust.
Somewhere around 9/11 and Iraq I had to learn that the military is a necessity, and they can also be abused. I suppose my grand dad learned that when he was drafted for the big one, and we talked about it - in our way, after 9/11 when it all seemed to go sideways.
It's a shame we send our volunteers on missions like this. It's a shame we have to draft people to protect ourselves. It's a shame we lay shame on our service members when they are misused and abused by our politicians.
The military is a tool. Soldiers are people.
I hope you can learn that too, some day.
Soldiers that were legally and morally obligated to refuse the orders to strike the water supply.
You would have argued the guards at the concentration camps shouldn't have been prosecuted.
"Just following orders" is not a legal defense against accusations of committing war crimes.
Like how they had to spend trillions and countless lives only to solve ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOTHING!!!?
I can see the problem from here. Trump doesn't view the "enemy" as "human".
See, just use words and everything is now OK.
I think you misspelled America.
I'm not sure "human" is a category that matters to trump. There's just him and everyone else.
Except it's not just Trump. Everybody in the chain of command is culpable and directly complicit. Every single one.
Money changes everything.
Hay, that would make a good song title.
Oh, i am pretty sure he sees the enemy as human, most imperialist did... the thing is though, that they see themself as something better than human...
