I can't get rid of it, it's obnoxious. I've tried filtering the element with my adblocker but it keeps reappearing. As much as I find Reddit useful (unfortunately), especially for information and discussion relating to my country, I will never install their proprietary garbage app on my phone just to use their website.

Oh well. I've used the Internet before Reddit existed, I'm sure I can get used to doing so again.

As much as I hate GPTs and Reddit I've found that using most of the Search GPTs out there are a better source for getting answers from Reddit. The neat thing is all the AI companies have literally downloaded all of Reddit and now there is practically no need to ever visit Reddit anymore.

I honestly hate AI so much. I had a question about a game I was playing (basically, "Where do I find [item] in [game]?"), and the AI led me on a wild goose chase for 2 entire days before I was finally able to talk to a human about it and get the right answer. The AI had me searching in the entirely wrong layer of the game.

The problem is that there is SO much content similar to that on the internet, and often only one or two instances of the correct answer - so if the most-common next word according to its training data happens to not fit the correct answer, it throws off the whole answer.

Yes, it's the humans that are at fault, not the robots. I see you licking that metal boot instead of the leather one, and I get it.

    What?

I'm pointing out a reason why AI is bad at something, and you accuse me of being a cogsucker? What side of the bed did you wake up on?

Sometimes the AI will completely fail to recognize the real question. Like if a particular mechanic isn't working right, it will spit out the way it's supposed to work.

Like, "Yeah, I know, and the game's not functioning that way. Which is why I need help. Fucking moron AI, I thought I turned you off in search options, why are you talking to me again?"
