To DSA's credit, they mostly fucking hate her now, too. Rashida Talib even got a standing ovation during her speech at the recent national convention for trashing AOCs "defensive weapons for Israel" position

That said, AOC really puts DSA in a bind, because she was elected before DSA had really decided on any discipline for its electeds, and she comes out of a non-profit organizing world which insulates her from the org, and from her constituents. She's also something of an opportunist. So, DSA both wants to distance themselves from her, and not punish her hard enough that libs could seize on an image of leftist infighting.
