MODERATORS
There are users in that thread who seem to not be surprised and have warned against him previously, funnily enough they are now banned.
This forum does have an issue with banning the people who are right too early.
The thread that I linked was the turning point. I pointed out that people should search "fetterman" and sort by old. There are many earlier threads which held Fetterman in a positive view. The thing is, Fetterman never claimed to be a socialist and was always pro-Israel.

Yeah I mean both those threads are very embarrassing, there are users in there trying to warn people though they just aren’t at the top. One user brought up his racist knife threats, someone else is downplaying it. Another is warning of getting consumed in succ dem electoralism, the normal harm reduction arguments are trotted out.
It is funny that the two OPs are mods/former mods. Not sure why there is such a high rate of electoralism brain among the mods here, it’s totally incongruous with the user base.
