    So why the title is not UE6 revealed and it's (who the hell cares) Rocket League will get UE6 upgrade..

    Because it was announced right in the middle of an e-sport event for Rocket League.

    So the reporting is accurate here. Epic just decided Rocket League would be the technology preview for their new engine.

    Supposedly, Rocket League had around 6 to 8 millions daily players in mid 2025.

    So a lot of people care about RL and also UE6 too obviously.

    Lost track ever since unreal engine versions didnt get a unreal (tournament) game huh

    Uh... They've all had an Unreal game. It's just that the last 2 sucked balls and they stopped working on the one made in UE5 before it was finished (but it's available and, afaik, still playable).

    No they didnt. Ue4 had a concept of an unreal tournament game, but was cancelled and left in an incomplete state as the devs were moved to work on fortnite. Ue5 never had an unreal tournament game
