Uh, no, we want this released. DNC is being super cagey about this one in particular. Probably because it shows that their current strategy of continuing to back a genocidal fascist regime in Israel is losing them voters, and they don't want to lose that PAC money.

Yeah, and I bet Harris is so delusional that she thinks it will vindicate her. She has done everything but blame her own short comings since the election and I think she's getting high on her own supply of bullshit.

My immediate reading is that she would not make a statement like this if she wasn't fully confident they'll refuse to release it no matter what happens.

Everything the Democrats do is about optics

It only makes sense if she thinks it'll make her look good for 2028

She has pretty terrible political instincts, so I imagine that it is something like:

"Harris fought internally to distance herself from the Biden administration and their policies, but the party, the Biden admin, and her campaign advised her against that strategy."

Which, in her mind paints the picture that her hands were tied and that she inherited a bad situation. What she doesn't understand is that her cowardice and lack of conviction is what people dislike about her.

It's not just Israel. It's also the strategy of trying to get boring middle of the road candidates when the American public wants radical reform. Problem is, the radical reform the public wants isn't good for big business and Wall Street, both of which donate a lot of money to DNC.

Also known as the why they fail to win anywhere in the countryside strategy.

Exactly. Not to mention often those boring candidates push wedge issues like gun control, trans issues, and race / gender based identity politics which make them very unpalatable for rural moderates.

The sad thing is, if the Democrats gave up gun control and focused on economic reform, they would clean house.

If the Republicans gave up their religious anti-gay agenda and focused on efficient government, they would clean house.

Both parties are so far in bed with a handful of big donors that they are totally out of touch with their electorate.
