Create new account or use an old one?

I think I still have an Arc account when I tried the game in 2012 (I didn't know english back then)
Old account or new account? It is the same?
I didn't reach two hours playing.
I think this makes it moot. The only reason to use an old one is if you bought or grinded out special things. So if you dropped money thing about using it but fyi last I knew linking it to steam sorta made it permanently require steam. I think you can install and launch manually and then should be able to log in with arc but not sure.
