Edwin Hubble discovered the apparent redshift, or reddening, of galaxies proportional to their distance. The cause of this is the expansion of the space along the light’s path to Earth. This principle is also responsible for the apparent red appearance of Alex Jones’s skin as he recedes into corn cob form, the words “I’m not owned” likewise shifting to longer wavelengths in the process.

You say there's been no explanation for millenials, well explain this.
Y'know, I've been working on just letting people enjoy things. TBBT is obnoxious and unfunny and I hate it, but if people get a laugh out of it, I should just be happy for them. God knows there are media properties I laugh at that have problematic aspects and I generally don't feel bad about it (especially stuff that's long over like Yes Minister) and we could all do with a chuckle to smooth our path through hellworld.
This image however has set me way back. I am no longer okay with people enjoying TBBT.
I had a roommate that fucking looooved TBBT and I have consequently sat through most of the show, really helped refine my dislike of it. The characters ranging from socially inept ND to socially inept sex pest doesn't do it any favors even if the humor wasn't just the writers pulling from whatever well known nerd shit they could think of and obviously didn't give a shit about.
I don't think I've ever watched even a single full episode.
Maybe spray tan or just wearing sunglasses everywhere while living in Texas.
