Hexbear is likely blocked because of some unaffiliated crypto currency scam a few years ago that had hex in the name.
no idea about ml, maybe because the TLD is from mali? lemmygrad also has a .ml TLD however so idk.

i tested more links there, apparently lemmy.ml is blocked, but dbzer0, feddit, .world, .zip, beehaw aren't..?
