.world user here. What did I miss now? Is it possible to migrate my account to another instance?

    If you sort comments by upvotes in your app, you will see what happened as the top comment. But it was a temporary problem, no need to panic for that reason.

    But I agree with others, users should spread out to more instances to help keep the fediverse healthy and other instances active. Otherwise we encourage Reddit 2.0.

    I have never used lemmy.world myself, because it goes against the fediverse idea to flock together on the same instance.

    I see, thanks! And I agree with you. I just picked .world bcs, being a former Reddit user, I had no idea where to get started and just picked one...

    Same here, but it was really easy to just make a new account on a new instance. You never know when your instance will go down (like Lemmy NSFW or, more recently, piefed.social) so you might as well just make a new one and try not to get too attached to any particular iteration of your account. And besides, karma actually means nothing here!
