Everyone in New York is a Democrat, even the fascists and reactionaries and right-wingers. It's the only game in town. Almost all of the centrist/rightwing rot that infests the DNC is concentrated in Illinois, New York and California. They are completely out of step with mainstream liberal voters nationwide in terms of their policies and preferences.
