Ah well, if Red Alert 2 is the game requested, then there are multiple iconic things possible:

Tesla Coil as building

Kirov Airship as maybe most iconic unit

Yuri is probably the most iconic face for Red Alert 2.

As Easter egg you could put a tree on there as well, as the game has the Mirage tank, which can disguise itself as a tree.

This game has no tiberium and neither GDI nor NOD though, so maybr you hide that at the bottom as Easter egg (since Tiberium and the original C&C timeline is the foundation of Red Alert)

Is the monocle a reference to a particular character? Oh, like the guy on the box art? Hah, I'm not even sure what that character is supposed to be.

Iconic Red Alert 2 stuff would probably be:

• A Kirov bombing some iconic american building like the statue of liberty or white house
• Tesla Coil frying infantry to dust
• GI's deployed in their sandbags
• Yuri's psychic paraphernalia (ex. his headwear with the tubes running behind him, or his phone with a little antenna on it that he uses to mind control people he calls)
• Tanya with her dual pistols

The money you gather in RA2 is mostly gold ore, with some gems. I expect some yellow sprinkles with a patch of primary-colored sprinkles would be good for this.
