Reddit banned Paul McCartney over phone-free concert photos post in their subreddit (piunikaweb.com)

Paul McCartney’s official Reddit account seems to have been banned. The account, u/paulmccartney, had just dropped a set of photos and videos from the first night of his shows at the Fonda Theatre. It went straight into the r/PaulMcCartney subreddit. Then, not long after, the whole thing disappeared.

It's not even worth lurking there. Every post is just five "original" comments, and then everything below those are people repeating the same five comments a hundred times.

    Weaponized reposting. Posts and connents. That was a thing before AI too. Remember, who was it, maybe POTATO_IN_MY_ANUS, who looked up super old reposts and cut n pasted the top scoring comment from them..
