It was OK. It was fairly close to the book, but without any of the science/problem solving. A solid OK. It was not worth the $27 I paid to see it though.

Been wondering how close it is to the book, guess i wait till it shows up in quality on the high seas online

Its very close, just "hollow". Oh, and there was no chapter 1 cliffhanger. They just gave Grace a window. 🙄

They also skipped the ch1 struggle to get off the table by having him just escape while the computer asked him questions he never answered.

Yeah, I saw that as forgivable because, at least to me, it didn't super matter. His great realization that he is not on Earth was actually significant, at least to me.
