It sounds to me like you live a comfortable life, which I'm glad to hear, but surely you must see some of the problems reflected around you in society, even if you don't personally experience them? Don't you see public services struggling under austerity, or people in your community who struggle to make ends meet, despite working hard? Does that stuff just not bother you at all? No judgment here, it's okay if the answer is no, I'm just genuinely curious.

    Not really, my local public services are ok

    They're expanding our local hospital:

    It sounds like you're just sheltered from the reality, because the statistics tell another story entirely:

    I'd encourage you to get out and spend some time in your local community, get to know your neighbours and their struggles, maybe you'll see things from a different perspective.
