What's the best system for this campaign idea? (thelemmy.club)

Wanna run this with comrades. By default I run everything in Genesys and I think it would handle this well, but I'm curious if there's something that would be more lightweight and setting specific for it.

If you want it to be narratively driven there's certainly a PBTA strain out there for this. Otherwise this fits the bill for Delta Green almost perfectly. Stars Without Number if you file off the spaceships could do it reasonably well.

Probably Cities since it's more grounded but the two systems are highly compatible and one could just yoink the interesting parts of each

Recruitment posts should contain what system is being played, CW for any adult/serious themes players need to be aware of and whether a game is beginner friendly.

An obvious reminder of no racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia and transphobia.

Emphasis on small independent rpgs like the ones in the TTRPGs for Trans Rights in Texas but not against dnd stuff.
