    The manufacturers lied their asses off about how efficient they actually are from what I've read.

    As a daily driver of a 19 volt I can confidently say I only buy gas if I go out of town. My standard driving never goes above the ~40 miles of full electric range.

    This is why I love bicycles. Be careful if you never ever use the fuel though, you might need to add a stabilizer or something if it goes unused for too long.
