Pebble Time 2 Production Update: We’re in the Production Verification Test (PVT) phase right now, the last stop before Mass Production (MP).

Entering PT2 Mass Production on March 9.

Based on current schedule, the first mass production PT2s will arrive on wrists during the beginning of April. We should wrap up delivering all pre-ordered Pebble Time 2s two months later by the beginning of June.

I assume you mean because it will eventually wear out its battery and be unserviceable? If so, how is that different than the Pebble watch itself?

I think the ring is not rechargeable at all..

It looks like Index 01 has a 2 year (24 month) battery. Apple airpods, while rechargable, have a unit life of 36 months or as short as 18 months (with heavy use).

I assume, following the same logic, airpods would be unethical? If so, in your opinion, how long should a device last before it wouldn’t be unethical?

No matter what, whether it's pebble or apple, non-serviceable batteries are "atrocious" and "unethical". While expected from apple; it would be nice to expect more from pebble.
