    Maybe things changed but last I checked Matrix kinda sucked. I'm not sure how it's any more secure than Discord but it has worse quality for voice and video calls, so it just seems like Discord but worse, although no microtransactions is nice, although although there aren't any account decoration in the slightest either so

    Other people have been recommending other apps and websites like Stoat and Team Speak though I am sure that a new app will use this opportunity to go viral.

    I mean, let me know when it does. I'll hang out with the Teenager Lock enabled and keep my biometrics to myself.

    But there's no point changing social media ecosystems if nobody I know is in the new site.
