On the other hand, maybe it's time to optimize and unbloat the software a little. It doesn't make sense that a notepad takes 1 GB and the mouse driver takes 2...

    That's the (webbrowser-in-disguise) configuration GUI, running in background (beside the tracking.exe) because why not.

    But even in Windows, a driver needs no background service; just kill it. And if it does, you can locate the respective driver files and add them via some Windows utility (google that).

    Also, Autoruns is a nice way to clean up the startup mess.

    That was my shower thought this morning. Maybe some good will come of these circumstances in the form of optimization.
