Does anyone else get extremely overwhelmed by the thought of work after a longer break? (lemmy.world)

It hasn't been that much longer of a break for me (4 and a half day weekend), but new years doesn't usually have me going to several dinners like Christmas or Thanksgiving and I actually got some really good rest, but I'm extremely upset at the idea of going back to work, it doesn't help that I don't like my job, but I'm too the point that I want to breakdown and/or quit. I've had similar experiences in school, and I'm curious to see if others have this or just me

Anytime I have more than like, 4 days off, I always have a worry in the back of my head that I'll forget how to do my job lol. Its never happened, but I still always worry.

    I get this ever time I switch jobs. Like “did I just forget a core skill I’ve spent my life so far mastering? I think I did. Or worse, I’ve been doing easy mode and now it’s gonna get too hard and I can’t do it”

    But I always do fine 🤷‍♂️
