I'm one of the people who can only taste how bitter wild cabbage cultivars (broccoli, cauliflower, kale, Brussels sprouts, cabbage). It's generic, like people who think cilantro tastes like soap, except the bitter tasting gene is the original and the non-bitter tasting mutation is the newer aberration. If you have 2 copies of the bitter tasting gene, stuff like broccoli tastes like fucking poison. So ya'know, fuck that, I'd rather have the pineapple.
