Yeah, I see the rumors now: https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/the-mystery-behind-the-game-awards-statue-appears-to-have-been-solved/ Selfishly, I hope their other half’a working on a sci fi game. Or a cyberpunk one? Shadowrun? Gods, that IP would be perfect for Larian. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] ampersandrew@lemmy.world 1 point 9 months ago (1 child) I'd very much like to see them do a sci-fi setting, like Starfield, but as a turn-based CRPG (with more thought and heart put into it). permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] brucethemoose@lemmy.world 1 point 9 months ago* (1 child) Yeah, please no Starfield. I love space opera, I love Oblivion and Fallout, jank and all, but the Starfield I got through was so boring. I’d rather them continue GOTG. I’m not a Marvel person, but the GOTG game was great. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] ampersandrew@lemmy.world 1 point 9 months ago Starfield was undoubtedly inspired by Interstellar and such, which is extremely my style, but even though it had some ideas here and there, the execution was what bothered me, and that's why I'd like to see Larian's take on the same kind of setting. permalink fedilink source parent
