When Democrats inevitably take power again, and refuse to prosecute these war crimes, remember this to remind yourself that they are the enemy as well, even if not the immediate one.

I'd argue Democrats coming back to power isn't inevitable, far from it. America is in for either revolution, civil war or decades of fascist rule. Something needs to give before corporate centrists can hold power in America again, and so far it hasn't.

    They're called elections.

And before you tell me Trump is going to rig them, they just lost the last batch of them.

So please stop spreading the lie that civil war is inevitable, or that it is more likely to happen than simply MAGA losing power through elections.

He's going to rig them and, if that fails, just launch a coup.

they just lost the last batch of them.

Yes, because they didn't actually need to win those. He still has a loyal majority in Congress.

So please stop spreading the lie that civil war is inevitable

Someone disagreeing with you isn't "a lie," and besides, you should look at what fascism looks like historically. Did the Nazis get voted out post-Enabling Act? This is Trump's last chance to become the fascist dictator of his dreams and he and his handlers won't let it go over their dead bodies.

Yes, the most important thing to do after every Republican atrocity is to remember how BoTh SiDeS are identical morally.

That's not a both sides argument.

That's someone who's lived through many cycles of American hot potato, and is under no illusion as to who the Democrats are, which is not the same as the Republicans, but still their own lesser brand of banal evil.

It's your type's eagerness to always bring it back to Democrats that is notable.

Edit: more downvotes please. It's a badge of honor for a bunch of contrarians to disapprove of my message that Republicans are infinitely worse. We all know Democrats are disappointing and sometimes even criminal and your need to remind us every chance you get speaks volumes.

It's actually better if you reply instead of only downvote though so I can know for sure who the malicious/ignorant users are. Can y'all do me that favor?

Misread your comment the first time.

    What is my type?

Again, I have lived through many transitional elections and have seen this cycle many times before, so if saying out loud the reality of our broken two-party system is hurtful to you, my apologies.

What I'm actually eager for, is to stop that cycle, and to stop it, you must first acknowledge it.

And doing your mixed capitalization of the both sides meme, ain't it.

Your type is the person who, when hearing about Republicans doing something bad, does not pause but immediately reminds everyone how bad Democrats are.

I'm sorry that I live in reality.

I'm sorry that you want to pretend that when Democrats get back in power, that they're going to hold these criminals to account.

But most of all, I'm sorry that you still have faith in the system, so much so that you are casting shame on anyone reminding people that the Democrats are not our saviors, and that it's up to us.

And yet, you're quiet comfortable telling them what they believe.

    Cute.

Pretty sure he’s a left leaning voter being critical of his own party…

You know, the party that supposedly actually cares about his vote?

Only criticizing republicans is really dumb idea.

We need to hold democrat leaders to an even higher standard, because they are the ones supposedly representing us.

And they are utterly failing. Democrat leadership is pathetically weak. If you can’t see it, keep your eyes closed I guess.

You and your ilk aren't doing anything useful. You're just trying to pull votes away from the party of baseline semi sanity. When Jill Stein takes votes from a Democrat, you get all hot and bothered because that's your only goal. Ps. Zero surprise it's you saying this shit. I tagged you months ago as a user who says "sHiTlIb". No one who uses that dumbass term has any good intentions or valuable opinions.

I don't think Carter, AOC, or Mamdani authorized drone strikes. Obama, a centrist at best, definitely did.

Sure, but I think it's clear from context that I'm talking about Obama. Establishment bootlickers love him so this is a good opportunity to highlight their hypocrisy.
