Everyone calls Trump stupid but I completely disagree, he's got incredible instincts. He sees Zohran's popularity, he sees he's a winner, he sees the platforms he's pushing are popular and what he's looking to do here is use Zohran to attach himself to those platforms. He's pretending that he wants the same things Zohran wants.

What Trump really wants is to be popular, and he will attach himself to literally anyone that can deliver him popularity regardless of underlying ideology. If Zohran improves New York, Trump wants to be attached to that too.
