    Been sitting here depressed as fuck, unemployed for quite a bit, lemmy helps me do something, gets me out of bed sometimes. In any case, I get to communicate with people, keep a sanity check on myself, make sure I'm not going too senile to ride a keyboard.

    You are a part of that.

    So cut the selfish "poor me" talk. We can share that kinda talk all night if you like. But there are some who appreciate your bullshit on here. And we would miss it.

    Sorry. I've just been used to dragging myself through life for such a long time and things are... the way they are. I need therapy. There's a reason I set up the 2meirl4meirl communities here on lemmy lol

    Lemmy does the same thing to me, actually. Granted, I have over 8,000 notifications, so I don't know if that's because of the amount that I have or what. That being said, feel free to message me or something Here, Matrix, Discord, whatever I don't talk to a ton of people, so like, conversation and stuff is cool. And I do things other than whine.

    Today though, yeah, a lot better. The landlord has accepted the rent transfer. Bills are mostly paid. Most things are kind of taken care of. I am far luckier than I deserve to have been able to get the help that I did from everybody here.

    As for the apologies, that is a combination of being Canadian and traumatized. It is a habit that I am trying to get over. It is easier said than done You have no idea how fucking bad I am trying to not say sorry. For saying sorry. Not as a joke. Just... yeah.
