Serious question, what's the difference between "hamburger meat in taco meat form" and ground beef? Because it sounds like ground beef to me.

    Most people I know refer to it as ground beef when it's still in the tube/tray/whatever before being cooked. Taco meat is ground beef that's been seasoned, finely chopped, and browned in a skillet.
