Should be pretty easy to differentiate from one NYC mayor since these aren't running as Democrats and won't have meetings with all the zionist socdems that they come out with worse takes from over and over

Yeah, these PSL candidates and Sawant running as a Trot(?) are completely different for the simple reason that the orgs they are running on behalf of are at least nominally socialist while Mamdani is running on behalf of a party that once thought slaves were happier as slaves and slaves who ran away from their masters suffer from a mental disorder.

I don't even think the pathetic idea that you could infiltrate bourgeois parties in the vain hopes that you can "flip" them counts as electoralism. Actually existing electoralism is doing the hard work of building your own political party from the ground up. MAS was build from the ground up, and when MAS betrayed the masses who build it for them, the party was unceremoniously abandoned and left to rot.

The only exception is Corbyn except that Labour started out as a socialist-leaning party. He was fighting for the soul of the party, and when he lost out to the Blairites, he's now doing the hard work of building his own party. Perhaps it's a political miscalculation to think that Labour could be saved, especially given that Labour never did anything to stop British imperialism, but there's nothing worth saving about a party that once thought slaves were happier as slaves and slaves who ran away from their masters suffer from a mental disorder.
