What makes Captain Ibrahim Traoré the most feared African leader alive?

In this groundbreaking interview, Ahmed Kaballo, the fearless founder of African Stream, breaks down why Traoré’s impact goes far beyond Burkina Faso. He reveals the hidden agenda of Western powers, their fear of Traoré becoming a martyr, and why his life or death will ignite a movement across Africa.

This conversation goes beyond politics—it's about the liberation of a continent, the rise of Pan-Africanism, and a new generation refusing to bow to colonial puppets.

Hey comrade! I just learned that a lot of African Stream's same programs are still being made on the founder's YT.

It's Ahmed Kaballo on YT, the link is @ahmedkaballo4170

Sadly, from what I have seen, his channel is just a mirror to the original banned African stream channel. Even though it has some of the latest content from African stream on X and Telegram, it only mirrors what African stream had so far. 😭

If it is possible for you and other comrades that want them back, don't forget to send him a message through any medium possible to try get funding from BRICs or AES.

Some people including myself in the Telegram channels have been urging his team to get fully funded by BRICs, AES or literally any country that anti imperialist.

That's a shame, bit it's better than nothing. Although getting funding from BRICS or AES is a neat concept, are you aware of how feasible it is to actually acquire funding?

Would BRICS be willing to work with them? I'd imagine the AES might but they also require a lot of resources for defeating terrorism in their countries, so I'm not sure they'd want to over extend in any area?

There is a strong push to fund an alternative anti hegemonic voice from the BRICs media forum. That leads me to speculate positively regarding the feasibility of African Steam getting funded. However, similar as getting a well paid job in a good place in the Global South, they need to join the forums, use their contacts and/or reach out to any of the news networks that are in the forum.

This was BRICS's latest media forum in Brazil comments and the level of organizations participating:

As for the AES, this is tricker because most of the initiatives are very local such as this one:

Would BRICS be willing to work with them?

Honestly, we will never know unless they give this a shot. From my side, I really hope that BRICs do. I have seen Xinhua contact famous mexican pro brics youtuber and even showing them up in their channels. I am 90% sure that the mexican youtuber that I am referencing contacted them through forums as well and he was successful to the point that Xinhua help him with materials and stuff.

I found another initiative from Burkina Faso!

Faced with the multidimensional crisis Burkina Faso is going through, it is important to mobilize all forces to lead the fight. An important link in this fight is the issue of information. According to Me Alidou Ouédraogo, president of the Convention of Civil Society Organizations for Domestic Election Observation (CODEL), it is important to work to make information true and accessible to all. It is with this in mind that CODEL initiated a training session on fact-checking and the fight against hate messages in Burkina Faso, this Thursday, August 7, 2025 in Ouagadougou.

The CODEL president also indicated that the task is shared. For him, as professional journalists and influencers, they are "actors at the heart of the battle" because, he said, they "play a fundamental role in the dissemination of reliable information and the promotion of constructive discourse ." He stressed that they are actors who have a considerable impact.

Also, there are also muslim societies in BF that are working with these organizations to fight the ISIS propaganda. It is beautiful to see how they are mobilizing every sector of the society.
