Seems like a better alternative would be something like allowing anyone to share any bed but have increasingly harsh mood debuffs depending on how negatively they view sharing beds. This would avoid the weird "I'll never share a bed unless I'm married! Unless of course, I was sharing a bed before I took up a new religion. That's different." The same way they don't get mood debuffs for "awful barracks" for being assigned to an awful barracks but for sleeping in one. Like "-30 Slept with non-spouse" (in addition to the "-X engaged in lovin' with non-spouse).
