Physical Love precept and lovin' outside of sharing a bed? (programming.dev)

Many of the forms of the Physical Love precept forbid pawns from sharing a bed with anyone other than a spouse but they all also give negative mood modifiers for lovin' people other than a spouse. I thought the only way two pawns could engage in lovin' was through sharing a bed. Am I missing something? Why give the negative mood modifier if it's impossible for it to even happen? Are there mods that allow them to do lovin' outside of bed and get the mood modifier?

It should be unassigned, but Rimworld has a lot of moving parts, and you’ve got to make allowances for things that’s shouldn’t happen, but because of a string of events do end up happening.

    Seems like a better alternative would be something like allowing anyone to share any bed but have increasingly harsh mood debuffs depending on how negatively they view sharing beds. This would avoid the weird "I'll never share a bed unless I'm married! Unless of course, I was sharing a bed before I took up a new religion. That's different." The same way they don't get mood debuffs for "awful barracks" for being assigned to an awful barracks but for sleeping in one. Like "-30 Slept with non-spouse" (in addition to the "-X engaged in lovin' with non-spouse).
