Vitaly got into hot water with Filipino law after he was seen grabbing a security guard’s hat and trying to take a gun from another guard during a stream. He was also heard threatening to rob a woman in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

Specific allegations involve harassing and attempting to kiss security guards, attempting to seize a security guard’s firearm, and unlawfully recording individuals without consent.

Furthermore, he is accused of stealing a patrol motorcycle, an electric fan from a restaurant, and a tricycle—all of which were reportedly later abandoned—and fabricating negative online reviews for local businesses, as well as engaging in acts of vandalism.

Once the court cases are resolved, Zdorovetskiy is expected to be deported as an 'undesirable alien.' However, bother the US and Russia, where the YouTuber holds both passports, refuse to acknowledge and deport him. Until then, he remains under maximum security in Muntinlupa.

I actually don't know anything about this guy. But stumbled on him while reading about Filipino prisons and how inhumane they were.

Fun facts about Filipino prisons:

  • Some facilities are 400-500% over capacity. This means people sleep in shifts, on floors, in hallways.
  • Access to clean drinking water, sufficient food, and basic necessities like soap and toothpaste can be limited. Families often bring those in prison basic supplies and even give them money to rent a real bad.

This isn't even a traditional prison. This is effectively a "short-term" holding facility for immigration cases. I put short term in quotes cause the average stay is like 2 years. It's dirty, it's crowded, you sleep head to foot with thousands of other people, he gets a dollar and 30 cents of food a day, like all the other detainees.

He could not deserve it more. He got a pittance for brutally beating a woman while on mushrooms. This is the payback.

That's the neat part! From April until yesterday, he was in immigration. He's actually been transferred as of yesterday!

Controversial internet personality Vitaly Zdorovetskiy has reportedly been transferred to the custody of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in the Philippines.
