This is what nearly ~60% of the country voted for.
About ~30% directly and ~30% indirectly by not voting at all.
Don't let them say otherwise.
Edit: Looks like I hit a nerve. If you voted for Trump you voted for this. If you didn't vote then you also voted for this. Do better.
I realize the sidebar says centrists are welcome here, so maybe that's your problem but, given the community name, do you actually consider yourself a progressive with that shit take?

I'm putting blame on the people responsible for the current situation. So people don't forget who to blame when things get worse.
When the people responsible for things getting worse decide "this wasn't what I voted for" or "I didn't know", it's on the rest of us to hold them accountable.

I'm here because this post was on my "All Posts" feed.
I had something I needed to say, so I said it. What I said is literally a fact.
You were offended by that fact and are trying to belittle me by stating I am certain things. It won't work.
I find it strange that I have more upvotes while you have more down votes. Even in a place that you consider your community. I wonder why that is.
I'm not here because it's a progressive community; I'm here because this post was on my "All Posts" feed, and no one had countered your dumb comment yet, so I felt it was important to do so before blocking you.
I'm not commenting to make you feel any type of way- pretty self-absorbed that you would think so, actually. I'm commenting because you're spouting bullshit, and I felt that it shouldn't stand on its own without accompanying dissent.
You tried to counter my "bullshit" but failed because you're wrong.
You're blocking me because you can't handle that I'm right.
