Not sure how much the OOP actually wrote, voice seems seems like AI and there's the —
A huge bulk of AI training was done on redditors, so it tends to sound a lot like your average smug redditor.
Though if we do take the idea that this person used AI to "enhance" their writing, it raises the question: Why?
How someone could take what is presumably a personal opinion and then try to get an AI to write it for them is just so beyond my understand that I can't make sense of it. Like, why outsource personal thoughts and opinions to an AI? How much must a person hate that lump of squishy grey stuff in their head to do this?
Or maybe it is a disassociation thing we see a lot from libs. By getting an AI to write their argument for them, it ceases to become a personal argument and (in their mind) becomes "fact" because it isn't an opinion expressed by them, it is an Important Statement generated by the machine gods and therefore inherently correct.
I think the OOP gave chat got their screed to rewrite, presumably because they couldn't get the pen on the paper well enough. I went through their profile, only found two other similar rants(most posts are gooning, go figure). One was extremely similar but normal dashes (-) instead of em dashes (—). The other had no dashes but lots of commas
