So I don't think any honest person could see you deliberately being evasive and trying to obfuscate your sources and not come to the conclusion that you're making shit up and you know it. People who actually have good sources don't engage in this kind of bad faith behavior.
I don't think providing sources and answering questions is evasive.
It's not, so maybe you should do it, rather than being evasive.
