Telecommunications giant Telus says it is trimming 6,000 jobs, citing its need to free up cash flow and remain competitive.

You have only two competitors, and you all match each others' prices. Who the fuck are you competing with?

If the NDP really wanted power, they'd run on a platform of nationalizing the telecoms. They'd win hands-down. But they're spineless succdems at their core, which means they don't want to win.

the way they call it “trimming” is fucking infuriating too, as if they’re discussing a haircut and not 6,000 people getting fucked over during ANOTHER cost of living crisis in this country
