    I'd rather see lemmy.world shrink to irrelevance because their mods are just using it as a tool to push their agendas.

    You might not be a pirate, but did you know they're censoring piracy communities from you? Not sure if you want to be a part of an instance whose mod team feels they get to make decisions like that for you.

    Yeah, honestly, the way things are set up isn't perfect. I maintain a few accounts on different instances just to fan out what content I get. The Fedi is always gonna have issues with moderation and federation, I just don't see it as a good enough reason to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
