I can't tell what's different in the implementation here, but it does not click. jerboa for lemmy is the closest to the simplicity I enjoyed in boost for reddit, and I do think summit merits another look in a month or two permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] anon6789@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (1 child) Boost still looked nice, but the posting UI was terrible for me. I couldn't figure out how to do half the things I wanted to do, and since I became a regular poster using a ton of media and formatting, it was just a no-go. The dev has done a lot to help with my specific use cases, and I haven't started since. I gave everything a look around the end of the year to make sure I wasn't missing out on anything, but at this point I don't feel I'm missing a thing from the experience.
