It’s still a lot cheaper than a car, and quite a bit faster than a regular bike, but it’s expensive enough you care if it’s stolen.

I completely understand that but they are routinely damaged or stolen for shits and giggles. Cars have the benefit that a person with some strong scissors cant come steal your car, unless you’re driving a 1998 Honda accord.
