The "new and improved" calendar in teams shows everything on it in a wildly incorrect timezone when I open it for about 15 seconds, as far as I can tell this is the only difference
i turned it on for a sec, and instantly noticed that some of it is colored wrong in dark mode, and switch back.
Oh my god I can turn it off! It's not in the settings for some reason so I figured it was just enforced by the org. This will save me literal minutes over the next month I'm sure
I think this was a bug that was fixed quickly, but I remember switching to it and initially it wouldn’t let me book online meetings, it insisted that I needed to meet people in person. Which is a weird thing for a video call client to do.
Edit: even if I were in office on that day if we didn’t do online meetings I’d have to spend my entire day travelling between offices. Which is fine actually since I get paid for it. Hmm. Wonder if I can get a per diem for lunch.
Sorry we all live in UTC-7 now, other timezones are just made up
