I had my account on lemm.ee banned for commenting in this thread lmao

I was just banned from Lemm.ee today too. No reason given. LMAO

I actually like lemm.ee, so I don't know what's going on over there. But it's also why I diversified myself across different instances. That way I'm never affected when someone bans me.

But the lemm.ee ban hammer is sorta surprising. I know they were calling for some new mods, so maybe that happened. I know the mod Ella, was always pretty cool and def respected diversity of thought.

I wrote to the mods to find out why my ban, but haven't heard back yet. Meh, I'll just add it to list of Lemmy groups that ban me. lol

Wait so I got my account deleted potentially by a mod who hadn't even been a mod for more than a week. Truly one of the moments

I actually have no idea. I don't really know anything about situation. Ella usually isn't this ban happy. But I don't know.

That's pretty wild. Alice tells me the mod team has changed recently, it sounds like the new mods are a different cut.

I came from lemm.ee too but I never thought they were bad. That sucks to hear!

I’ve seen you all over when I browse Lemmy. Glad to have you over here! It gets lonely in the HC communities and would be nice to see more engagement here.
