there's a software that I own a perpetual license for called "Clip Studio Paint" and they got around that license like scumbags by refusing to provide more updates and making a new software called "Clip Studio Paint 2.0" which was essentially the same software, just without perpetual licenses available.... even then, I had already paid a lot and would have had to AGAIN. talk about scum of the earth
