Just been listening to the USCG press conference: "The debris field was consistent with a catastrophic implosion."

Yeah, sounds like it split into (at least) 2 pieces. What they found is large enough to conclusively identify it as the wreckage. Other details about timing, recovery and an exact cause were not yet available.
