I understand feeling horrible about being involved, but Tua legit just speared him in the chest for no reason head first.
Hamlin didn't even really tackle him. Just kind of stood there in shock.
It's crazy that people are letting Tua keep playing, he's had way too many concussions. He was playing like he was already concussed before this even happened.
A blowout game they had no chance to win. And he's running head first into defenders on 4th and long when they were in field goal range.
It was pointless
I didn't watch the game last night but Damar's heart stopped after being hit in the chest two seasons ago. Pretty fucked up for Tua to do that.
The game was wild, James Cook was basically like watching someone play Madden in real life.
But Tua was horrible and threw like three picks before this. He took a couple decent hits but nothing crazy, but his decision making during the game was basically non existent and just somehow kept getting worse.
There's no way he was intentionally trying to go helmet first into someone's chest, but that's what ended up happening.
That's what I mean, he was already playing like he's concussed. I've played thru more than I should have and I've seen others do it too.
You just make the worst possible split second decisions, basic self preservation stops kicking in.
That's what I mean, he's so far gone that he's not really accountable anymore especially in a game when he starts taking hits. It's past the point the team needs to step in and where we might see his family file a conservatorship or something crazy.
Tua has a long history with these, he's like Johnny Concussion from American Dad. After so many, it doesn't take much of anything to affect thinking and decision making. At a certain point, he's just going to be permanently like this.
Just watched a video of it and yeah, he probably didn't really target Damar.
