The strength of GOP was a uniform set of supporters whereas dems were more like a coalition. Turns out it’s easier to unite people against a common enemy than based on a shared belief and goal. Well, like the dog that finally caught the car, they finally are implementing actual policy they stand for, and that might be what fractures their base. permalink fedilink source parent
