What are The Trans™ Games? Aside from Heaven Will Be Mine ofc
Playing Celeste is one of the few things that assuages my desperate need to read weird shit. Getting my dose of Trans™ Media® through vidya is fuckin sick honestly. Usually I get stuck spinning the Weird Trans Novel plate and the Cool Viddy Gaems plate. I like this better.
Also this comment throws into focus again that I have suuuuuch a weirdly specific brainbug for queer n especially trans rep in media n fiction. Why? Pls send help.

I'm pretty sure I have the same brainbug and was told there's not much.
Maybe I'll just start looking for media made for women tbh.
My split for stuff is like
Novels: 98%
Games: 1%
Movies: 0%
Manga/anime: 1%
Which sucks but I went where the gold is. I have a lot if love for media "made for women" as well, and sapphic anything generally, big into that.
For real though, where are the games with trans reps that aren't celeste or visual novels?
Not too many sadly... I skimmed itchio for a long time, no dice really...
I want my trans character action games :/
Do other games/rom hacks by Maddy count even if they're basically just platformers with much less messaging or story than Celeste or make Celeste look like a relatively easy game?
SMW hacks in general have a lot of trans creators and contributors, but most hacks certainly aren't meant for someone's first experience and I don't know of any trans-specific beginner hacks.
Uh, I mean Idk. Uncritical support to this stuff of course, but I guess when I go questing for Trans® Media™ I'm looking for narratives meaningfully flavoured by being trans, if that makes sense?

Figured as much, hence why I didn't provide any specific suggestions. Dysphoria is probably the only hack I can think of that would remotely be close to that and knowing shov, its probably pretty difficult for an "intermediate" hack. Unfortunately, I don't of any. Apparently the bundle ended today, but I think a lot of the games are cheap/free?
I wanna know this too. I can think of a couple games with trans protags but they don't have trans narratives

Super Lesbian Animal RPG has a trans protag and trans party member (as well as a few npcs). Ikenfell had a mostly trans/enby cast but I didn't really vibe with it myself
In final fantasy 4, the main character transitions from a dark knight into a paladin
It's okay I guess, for a game with such a reputation it's good but I was expecting more. For a series with such a particular storytelling reputation, IV's narrative feels thrown together.
I think it starts off tight and then unravels as it goes along.
In particular, I think the last quarter of the game is a complete mess
