The critically acclaimed 'Somebody Somewhere' will end with its forthcoming third season, HBO announced.

AFC Richmond may be coming back after all.

I don’t remember how I heard of it, but just binged-watched it over the past few days. Ratings seem a little bit above average, but I found it very enjoyable. I liked that the mood oscillates between modern comedy and tragic comedy; and that it seems to implicitely critique modern society. The series almost feels like an allegory (or perhaps I’m reading too much in to it).

Are there any other shows out there of this sort of lighthearted nature, yet made with quality writing, out there?

It feels like a lot of recent things we've watched has been a bit grim and/or relies on spectacle rather than telling a good story and working a few jokes in along the way ... the world is on fire, I'd like to stop it and get off, if only for a few minutes at a time.

Virtually all the major streaming services have announced price hikes in 2024, and it's likely they're not done yet.
