I'm always around a month+ behind with NJPW content, because they just release too much to keep up!

I've finally reached the Best of Super Jr. 30 (I'm on May 16/Day 4 right now) but I'm wondering if anyone can tell me which matches are worth watching and which are perfectly skippable on my todo list, because I'm aiming to be up to date for Forbidden Door II and I know I've a lot to get through in the next week!

I know I could probably just skip to the Finals Night of BOSJ, but what can I say, I'm a bit of a completionist.

Events I still have to watch:

  • May 17: Best Of The Super Jr. 30 - Day 5
  • May 18: Best Of The Super Jr. 30 - Day 6
  • May 19: Best Of The Super Jr. 30 - Day 7
  • May 21: Best Of The Super Jr. 30 - Day 8
  • May 21: Resurgence
  • May 23: Best Of The Super Jr. 30 - Day 9
  • May 24: Best Of The Super Jr. 30 - Day 10
  • May 26: Best Of The Super Jr. 30 - Day 11
  • May 28: Best Of The Super Jr. 30 - Day 12
  • Jun 04: Dominion
  • Jun 09: All Together Again
  • Jun 10: New Japan Road - Road To Strong
  • Jun 17: New Japan Road - Road To Strong
  • Jun 18: New Japan Road - Road To Strong
  • Jun 25: AEW X NJPW: Forbidden Door II

It'll probably be a fun match like it always is, but it feels like the group of guys in this one has the lowest standing in years. Usually the match has a main eventer or something but these are all midcarders with the only ex-champion of any kind on the main roster being Nakamura.

Or maybe the rumors of Drew being in this are true?

So do you like the match using all guys who could possibly get a push, or do you like some more star power?

Hey all, I was just reading some of the threads here and I'm loving it so far. One request, and maybe I'm being too bold here, would be to limit the dirtsheet drama. I , for one, couldn't care less what Meltzer thinks of a match. I don't care for the negative vibes the dirtsheets look at the business with. Also, a problem I found with /SC, is that if a dirtsheet reported it, it was taken as gospel. These guys get worked all the time, and shouldn't be taken with any sort of seriousness. The only one I respect is Mike Johnson, but he works for a crappy site. This is just one long term fans opinion, but hopefully we can keep this space as negative free as we can.

Seriously, usually my mondays, wednesdays and fridays are like "let's check r/squaredcircle for the highlight posts"

Already miss that. I heard Rhea got a new belt? 🤔

With the other place going private, we're here! This is basically an introduction post to introduce ourselves.

My earliest wrestling memory is having a recorded VHS tape of Royal Rumble 1990. I consider being a fan since the mid 90s around 6 years old. I loved Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, and Diesel. Royal Rumble 1995 is my favorite Rumble. Just one foot. I felt sorry for the British Bulldog, though. I thought Mabel was a good wrestler. He won the King of the Ring! I mainly watched WWF Superstars weekend mornings and Coliseum Home Video. I was "banned" from watching wrestling during the Attitude Era lol. I started watching regularly again in 2002. The Ruthless Aggression era and TNA 04-09 is technically the era I grew up on. Today, I mainly watch AEW, but keep up with what goes on in the WWE. It's neat seeing all the young stars become experienced veterans.

From the biggest promotions to the smallest, champions to rookies, kayfabe or not, which wrestlers do you think are having an amazing year?

(Also, hope I’m doing this right. This is my first post.)

Has anyone else been watching #RLWC2021? Who's the British announcer? It sure sounds like Stu Bennet / Wade Barret. #Wrestling #Sports #Rugby #leauge #WorldCup @squaredcircle @rugby @sports
